Saina teaser out! Parineeti Chopra is all set for match as Saina Nehwal - watch

 

Ever since Parineeti Chopra announced the release date of her upcoming film, Saina, fans have been eagerly waiting to see her as the ace badminton player Saina Nehwal on the silver screen. While the poster of the movie has become a topic of discussion among those who love this game, the actress recently treated netizens to a teaser of the biopic. 

Helmed by Amole Gupte, the movie is set to release on March 26, 2021. The short teaser, which Parineeti shared on her Instagram feed, shows her ready to battle it out on the field.

Meanwhile, when the biopic was announced, Shraddha Kapoor was roped in to play the lead. However, things did not work out with the actress and soon Parineeti stepped in to fill her shoes. Parineeti has undergone intensive training for her role in Saina. When the diva was prepping for the role, she used to share many photos and videos from the training sessions. 

Apart from this, Parineeti has also been hogging the limelight for her recent OTT release, The Girl on The Train. The mystery thriller has been directed by Ribhu Dasgupta and also stars Avinash Tiwary, Aditi Rao Hydari and Kirti Kulhari in key roles. It is based on British author Paula Hawkins' 2015 novel by the same name and has Parineeti playing the role of an alcoholic divorcee who gets embroiled in a murder investigation.
